How to Enable God Mode in CS2

This guide explains how to activate god mode in Counter-Strike 2, which is useful for training, grenade testing, and other gameplay experiments.

1. What is God Mode in CS2?
God mode makes players invulnerable—bullets, explosions, and grenades deal no damage. In CS:GO, the command was god, but CS2 now uses buddha.

2. How to Enable God Mode?
Enable cheats (works only offline or on a local server):

sv_cheats 1
Activate god mode:

buddha 1
Players will have 1 HP but cannot die.

To disable god mode for bots:

buddha_ignore_bots 1
3. How to Make Yourself "Almost" Invincible?
If you want high HP (but not full god mode), use:

buddha 1; buddha_reset_hp 999999; hurtme 200; buddha 0
How it works:

buddha 1 – temporary god mode.

hurtme 200 – reduces HP to 1.

buddha_reset_hp 999999 – sets 999,999 HP.

buddha 0 – disables god mode but keeps high HP.
